Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Dr. Elman's practice handles information provided through educationalevals.com and related appointment communications, including office texts.
Information you provide
When you contact the practice, we use your name, email address, optional phone number, and message to respond to your inquiry.
The appointment forms collect parent and child identifying and contact information, relevant developmental, educational and health background, school and teacher information, and signatures and authorizations. Dr. Elman uses this information to prepare for and provide the requested professional services. The practice's dashboard tracks form submissions, card setup status, and administrative communications so she can follow up on outstanding steps.
Secure card setup
Card details are entered on Stripe's hosted page. Stripe stores the payment method; the website receives setup references and limited card information, such as the card brand and last four digits, rather than your full card number. Saving a card does not charge it. The separate Policies and Card Authorization form explains the payment authorization.
Website and communication services
IONOS provides website hosting and outgoing website email. Google services support the practice's Gmail and calendar, and Kalama handles appointment confirmations and reminders. These services process information used for their respective functions.
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent spam. It processes technical browser information for that check. The website also uses temporary cookies and browser storage to maintain form sessions and references. Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser details, visit information and request logs to operate and protect the website.
Text messaging
With your permission, Educational Evals sends texts about appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, paperwork, secure card setup, and appointment cancellations. Kalama sends the appointment confirmation and automatic 48-hour reminder. Twilio supports the separate dashboard notices about outstanding paperwork, card setup, and cancellations.
We use your mobile number, messaging preferences, and sending and delivery records for these communications. Kalama, Twilio, and mobile carriers process the texts they deliver. Twilio also processes replies and any attachments sent to the dashboard texting number. Eligible replies to that number are forwarded to Dr. Elman's phone with your number so she can contact you directly.
Messages may remain in provider records and on phones used for communication. The practice's dashboard also stores contact information and administrative messaging records, including delivery status and opt-out preferences.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Service providers may process information as needed to operate and support the services described here.
Office texting is optional. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to 561-910-0835 to stop messages from the dashboard texting service, or HELP for help. Protecting and keeping information
Background and teacher communication forms, and signed policy attachments emailed to Dr. Elman, are encrypted for her to open. Contact inquiries, ordinary email and text conversations do not use that same encrypted-document process. Please use the secure card setup page for payment card details.
Access to the practice dashboard requires a password and a separate verification code. The website is not a complete repository of your child's evaluation records. Retention depends on the purpose of the record and applicable professional and legal obligations; provider and device copies can have different retention settings. Opt-out information is kept to help prevent unwanted texts.
